Where can I download a free math editor?

I want to download a free math editor so I can write formulas and maybe paste graphs in my sheet so it looks good. I want to use word editor with it. I don’t know what is a recommended one. thanks.

    The industry standard is a program called TeX, what you’ll want to use is a variation called LaTeX.

    A good Windows version of LaTeX is called MikTex and a good editor for all platforms is called Texmaker. The editor is separate from the program itself so that there is more flexibility, should you want to write related programs yourself.

    You’ll find it difficult to find a WYSIWYG editor for LaTex – this is actually a good thing since you spend more time thinking about content rather than layout and you can leave TeX to worry about the layout for you.

    Since it is so popular, you will find many tutorials on the web.
