What math should I study for the ASVAB?

Math Help

I want to be a cook/chef for the US Navy, I understand that I need a combined score from the Arithmetic reasoning, and the word knowledge , of 88 which is kinda low compared to other rates. So what type of math should I concentrate on for this rate?

Also what number overall score would this be? Like if I got a 40 on the AVAB for ex? Thanks!

First off, congratulations on joining the navy! Second, please- DO NOT take your ASVAB with only one rating in mind! Study algebra, take a few practice tests online (Google ASVAB practice test). The higher your ASVAB score, the more opportunities that will be available to you now and in the future. A 40 is ok, but you should be shooting for a 99 the whole time. Good luck in your navy career and remember- the only one that will hold you back is you
