What does snowboarding have to do with math?

Math Help

I’m doing a math project on snowboarding and was wondering what snowboarding has to do with upper level math..preferably around 11th or 12th grade math. I have so far velocity of the snowboard depends on size…jumps are like parabolas..got anything else?

I don’t know much about snowboarding, but maybe the slope, amount of snow, rotations in the jumps, etc.

How about the physics of sliding?

Why should a board slide over the snow rather than dig in and stop?

    How about center of gravity?

    How does a turn happen?
