I just wrote a response to a similar question; here it is:
Flash cards are a great study aid. They allow you to break up what you need to learn into more manageable chunks of material. Carry a few in your pocket, and pull them out whenever you’re idle. Review a few cards each day and then every other day review several days worth of already-reviewed cards.
Try to understand the material. If you study to memorize, you’ll never improve.
Try to find a study guide – sometimes a different perspective can help you learn something better.
Find a study group – having at least one other person there can help you become more productive, and it can help make studying more fun.
Talk to your teacher, professor, or department official – they’ve seen countless students before you and have probably learned a thing or two to help you help yourself.
Write things down. Geometry is often very difficult to visualize – writing things down or drawing diagrams while you study can help you gain a better grasp on the material.
Do more homework and example problems. This will help you learn to think on your feet and could help you with your exams.
Also, relax. Depending on how old you are, there may be dozens of exams in your future. Do you really think that in 10 years you’ll look back and say “dang, I should have done better on that geometry test?” No, you won’t. Try your best, but don’t worry too much, because a clear head might help you earn a better grade than if you panic.
Good luck!

Geometry is a subject that is really easy once you know which formula to use. It’s knowing what to use when that becomes difficult. One of the best ways to study a subject like geometry is to take a whole bunch of different kinds of problems and throw them in a hat (or make flash cards or something where which problem you get will be random) and then use them to practice knowing which formula applies where. Once you know that, the rest of the problem becomes calculator work.
In addition, I might take some of the more complex problems (those that have multiple steps) and work them again, even though you’ve already done them in your homework or in class. It is too easy to read something and say “I understand”, especially in math. Whenever you want to study for anything in math, actually do the math.
Hope this helps!
