I need a program that can cover basic math, Algebra and so on. I don’t mind buying it. What is a very well known powerful and successful application for this?

I have tried taking regular math classes in college, but I can’t learn it out of a book. Classes, teachers and tutors did not help much either. But I have heard that they can teach math differently now. I hear they can do it on a computer and that helps some people. But I don’t know what, if any thing will help me.
I tried taking algebra I Twice and failed both times. Even when I went to class all the time and had a tutor.
What else can I do now?

I can’t figure out why but everytime when I think about doing math or chemistry or any form of calculations, I get really nervous and then I don’t bother with it. I am very insecure about doing chemistry labs, so how can I overcome this fear?
I can’t afford a tutor…
