How to teach math to a 7 year old?

HI, I have a 7 year old brother and he needs to learn math. He is able to only comprehend simple problems and constantly needs his hands to do so. I want him to learn to use his head more, not just his fingers. In addition, he can’t do any problems over 10 because he only has 10 fingers. Thanks for your help!

What should a student learn in fourth grade math?

My son attends a very nice Christian school. I have one problem, though. When he was first admitted we were told that they followed the same guide as the public schools, at least for the basic subjects, including math.
I am concerned that my son’s teacher is lagging in teaching math. I saw some paperwork from friends of his who attend public school and they seem to adhead of what she is teaching. Plus, she teaches it very basically. I work with him at home to learn more advanced procedures but I would just like to see if anyone can give the input as to what their fourth grader is currently learning in math. Thanks.

What do I have to study to learn all of 9th grade advanced math?

I want to move into 9th grade math and I’m in 8th grade. I already studied and finished Algebra II by myself while we are learning Algebra I in school, so should I study Geometry and is there anything else to study? I live in NY by the way.

My teacher took a leave of absence and they put a 12th grade math teacher and we never learned 7th grade stuff? So now im stuck
BTW im in 9th grade now. and the teacher wasnt very nice she wouldnt help us with anything. and im also doing all of my classes online.
