I want a good job after college, but I suck at math. I am more of a reading person, but there seems to be nothing career-wise for an arts degree.

Math Help

You see, I hate to admit that I have problems with Math, or Math phobia. I have always been very bad at Math. I want to get a college degree, and am not ashamed to start at the very bottom. I just don’t want fiancial aid to run out until I do. Do you think you can get a degree even if you are terrible at Math?
I don’t plan on going to graduate school, and I’m majoring in History. It doesn’t require going past intermediate Algebra. Well, I am pretty good at the basics (I have a bit of trouble with times tables, but that’s a long story..) I am trying to review my fractions, ratios, percentages. I’ve been practicing over the web to improve my basic skills.
I’m not using my degree to teach, but rather to work at a museum or doing historical reconstructions.

i am not interested in an english or education degree.
I enjoy working with people and want a career that has potential to make money even if not right away.

I already have a bachelor’s in Business, but I am interested in becoming a math teacher at the high school level. To get this degree I am looking at probably 3-4 years of college again, I don’t know if it is feasible for me at 29 to do this. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

Math Help

I am a high school student planning for college right now and I really want to major in Physics with a minor in chemistry or mathematics. With this in mind I know that the ideal school for me would be one that’s good in math or sciences. I also love manhattan, so what’s a good science/school in manhattan.

How do you get excused from math in college?

Sunday, March 29th, 2009
Math Help

I’ve been in college for four years now, I’ve been able to pass most of my classes except math. I’ve tried exceptionally hard, only to get a “D” or “C” that teacher don’t think is good enough to get me to the next level. I’ve tried nearly everything, and heard that there is a program in college that excuses you from math, due to an incapability.

Do any of you know anything about this? Help me out.
